The Bella Vista Water District Board of Diurectors is comprised of five members each of whom is a District landowner or designated or legal representative of a landowner.
Board elections are held every two years, and Directors are elected to four-year staggared terms of office. Each landowner in the District is allowed once vote for each acre of land which he/she hold title.
In addition to serving on the Board, Directors also serve on various standing and ad hoc committees that presently includes an Engineering and Planning Committee; Finance and Personnel Committee; and Policy and Legislation Committee. Regular Board meetings are held monthly, on the fourth monday of the month at 5:30 p.m. except on Holidays or unless otherwise rescheduled. Board meetings are open to the general public and are noticed at least 72 hours in advance in accordance with the Brown Act. Agenda and Minutes are available.
