Urban Water Management Plan and Water Shortage Contingency Plan Updated and Adopted

The District has updated its Urban Water Management Plan and Water Shortage Contingency Plans.  Both were adopted by the Board of Directors at the June 22, 2026, Board of Directors Meeting.  This 2025 Urban Water Management Plan (UWMP) describes current and future water uses, reliability of water sources, and existing and planned water conservation measures for the Bella Vista Water District (BVWD). Water resources and demographic data are provided for the years 2021-2025, and water supplies and demands are projected through 2050. This document is an update to the District’s 2020 UWMP and complies with the Urban Water Management Planning Act (UWMPA) established by Assembly Bill 797 (AB797), September 21, 1983.  These documents along with the appendicies are available under the Resources menu in the Forms and Reports section.
